Sundarban - This tiger reserve is spread over two countries India and Bangladesh. It covers nearly 4262 square kilometers in India with 54 islands. It is also the largest delta where the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna River meet the Ocean called Bay of Bengal.The Sundarban forest has been declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1999. Some of the sundarban packages are given in the site.  The name has been derived from two schools of thought.  Sundari - a plant found in the local mangroves and Ban - meaning forest yet some believe it simply means Beautiful Forest - Sunder meaning beautiful and Ban meaning forest. This grove is definitely beautiful, matching up to its name. The world’s most extensive mangrove forests with pristine sea beach and the innumerable islands are something to observe. The dense expanse with chirping birds, deer, monkeys and Royal Bengal Tigers will irresistibly attract visitors. The attractions are manifold but the ambience created by the green dense growth, blue overhead, the vast stretches of sea with tide and the ebb and the splendor of the Sundarbans are mesmerizing. It has always been mysterious to the nature lover, scientists, researchers and tourists

 

The excursion of Sundarban is arranged for group heads of 20 to 40 and the package starts fro either Kolkata to Kolkata or Canning to Canning. Food accommodation, sight seeing, Movie show, filtered, Hygienic drinking water & Guide are included in the package. Towel, Blanket, Mosquito Coils, Newspaper are  complementary service. There is group concession in off season. We have our own liner with 30 and 40 head capacity. 3 Nights 4 Days trip for group size of 20 to 40 cost nearly 4500 per head all inclusive.
